That air filter is not enough <\/em>to protect your indoor air quality! As we just explained, the air filter protects your cooling system itself. For indoor air protection, you need a whole-house air filtration or air purification system. You might even benefit from a UV air purifier, which is installed right in your ductwork to eliminate bacteria such as mold, before it even has a chance to infiltrate your indoor air.<\/p>\n

Debris Can Live in Your Ductwork<\/h2>\n

We just mentioned a UV air purifier\u2014this is a great system for preventing a particular type of unhealthy debris from damaging your indoor air, but that\u2019s not all that can reside inside your air ducts.<\/p>\n

Your ductwork, without the right products and services in place, can fill up with dust and other allergens, which you and your family can breathe in and become ill from. Dirty ductwork also slows down airflow, making your air conditioner work less efficiently.<\/p>\n
